Hi and welcome! I’m Kristen, a fourth-year medical student who loves the brain, outdoor adventuring, and new cultures. I’m currently pursuing my medical degree in Arizona while my fiancé, Ryan, is getting his Ph.D in Texas. We have three kitties, Loki, Athena, & Leo, and love anything that pertains to being outside. Whether it’s trekking, hiking, camping, biking, scuba diving, kayaking, or trail running, you’ll find us outside when we aren’t buried in the depths of a library.
My passions include intersectional healthcare, humanity in medicine, neuroscience, preventative medicine, Olympic weight lifting, nutrition, and theology. Fun fact, my love for intersectional healthcare and preventative medicine led me to a public health project in Trujillo, Peru, where Ryan & I lived for 3 months before grad school.
